How it works
Your trees. One focus at a time.
TaskKoala is for people who have plenty to do but struggle to choose what to tackle next. You plant trees, add leaves, mark what matters most — then let the koala pick one thing while you work.
-
1
Plant trees
Group work by project, area of life, or anything else. Free includes one tree; paid plans give you unlimited trees.
-
2
Add leaves & priorities
Write what you need to do in plain language. Mark urgent work as high priority so it climbs the queue first.
-
3
Enter focus mode
Open focus on a tree. You see one leaf at a time — high priority first, then a fair random pick from what’s left.
Focus mode in detail
Focus mode is the heart of TaskKoala. Instead of scanning a long branch, you commit to a single leaf on screen. When you finish, you mark it Done or Not today. The koala then picks the next one.
- High priority first — leaves marked high priority are always considered before everything else.
- Random among equals — when several leaves share the same priority, one is chosen at random so you are not stuck re-sorting the same branch.
- Quick capture — something new comes up? Add a leaf from focus without leaving the flow.
Managing leaves outside focus
On the leaves page for each tree you can add work, review status, and see when things were created or last actioned. Completed or skipped leaves can go back on the branch. Anything you no longer need can go to the compost and be brought back later if you change your mind.
Plans & billing
