What is TaskKoala? +

A focused to-do app for people who want to do one thing at a time. You plant trees of leaves, mark what matters most, then let the koala pick what’s next in focus mode — without scanning a long branch yourself.

How does focus mode pick the next leaf? +

Pending high priority leaves are always considered first. If more than one high-priority leaf is waiting, one is chosen at random. If there are no high-priority leaves left, a random standard leaf is chosen. That keeps things fair while respecting what you have flagged as important.

What is the difference between Done and Not today? +

Done means you finished the leaf. Not today means you are setting it aside for now (not the right moment). Both remove the leaf from the focus pool. From the leaves page you can bring completed or skipped leaves back onto the branch if you change your mind.

What does the free plan include? +

One tree, unlimited leaves on that tree, and full access to focus mode. No credit card is required to sign up. See pricing for paid options.

How much do paid plans cost? +

Prices are in pounds sterling (£): monthly subscription and a one-off lifetime option. Current prices are on the pricing page . VAT may apply where relevant. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider.

Can I cancel a monthly subscription? +

Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription from Settings → Billing in the app. If you upgrade to lifetime, any active monthly subscription is cancelled when that purchase completes.

What happens when I send something to the compost? +

Sending a leaf or tree to the compost hides it from your active trees. You can bring things back from the compost later. That is different from marking a leaf Done or Not today in focus mode. On the free plan, bringing back a tree counts toward your tree limit — see pricing if you need more room.

Where is my data stored? +

Your account and app content are stored to run the service. We aim to keep hosting within the UK or the European Economic Area where practicable. See our privacy policy for more detail on how we handle personal data under UK data protection law.

How do I delete my account? +

You can delete your account from Settings → Profile. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in Billing first. For help, contact us using the email on your account or the address in our privacy policy.
